While I think Altius CAR is way different. I was an Altius student, and, towards the end, my FL’s were consistently 512-515 with AAMC FL’s considerably higher (519-523). Hopefully I'll know by next week how it works out. I scored 513 on AAMC FL 1 last week (130/124/131/128) and plan on taking AAMC FL 2 this coming Wednesday if y'all think I should just take the exam on 8/18 and not delay. I am trying out a new way to review FL - by making an excel sheet and going over each and every answer choice provided in the Qstem, keeping track of why I messed up and what I could do to avoid that next time. Cant stop taking meds at this point, but the rest I can work on. So its a little bit of everything my friend. To make things worse, I am also on antidepressants which I suspect might be messing up my working memory. Timing is also a problem, because when I would give myself an extra 2 minutes on untimed passages, I would do a LOT better both on scientific reasoning/problem solving and content recall. Roughly 50% of my mistakes could be attributed to me trying to rush through passages and could have been avoided had I looked at the right place in the passage or would have taken a bit more time to think about what the Qstem is really trying to ask. I think it might be a combination of poor recall due to missing out on anki reviews and silly mistakes that I could have avoided. No of course any feedback is appreciated.
